johnny the mysterious bethelite shows up on the six screens "late night with the twins" program april, 20, 2013. .
johnny claims to be an active bethelite and is serving as a "mole" (an insider divulging adverse information about the watchtower) and uses the six screens tele-network as a conduit to speak up.. .
if you are an active or former jehovah's witness listen in to johnny, you will be shocked... johnny says he was offered jw sisters by a governing body member in an attempt to quiet him..

my wife and i are atheists, raised and living as jehovah's witnesses.
Any time a JW makes an argument that you suspect isn't supported by the WT, make them show you an article in a WT publication that supports it.
That way, they get the problem of proving their own bs.
1 - reconsider your existence - there might be a reason why the most effective resources to date have been solo efforts.
2 - recognize that even well-intentioned organizations will firstly seek self-preservation.
3 - be aware that egos and emotional stupidity have torn apart much grander edifices than aawa.
It's down now again! This is really strange.
Being down at all is really strange. You don't have to abandon your current website to be able to redesign your next one.
this question gets people defensive because they have to question they own belief system.
born agains and jws always claim to follow the bible 100% but when this question comes up i always get silence from both groups.
because in the bible jesus says whatever he ask the father i will be granted.
Correct me if I am wrong about this (JW version of Trinity).
You are not wrong. JWs having been bashing Trinitarians on the basis of a doctrine that Trinitarians don't subscribe to for decades.
Christian churches that have lost members to JWs are guilty of not educating their congregations in their own doctrines. I know many ex-christians that never knew what their church taught about the Trinity, and have joined the WT church without realising their mistake.
i met a bro and his wife in a local store at the weekend, i didn't get much of a chance to say anything to make him think, so i looked back on the conversation as an epic fail on my part.. but thinking about what i said, one bit may stick, we were talking about the old days and how thirty or forty years ago the smallish congregations as they were then had a "family" feel about them, he then remarked about the "wonderful expansion" over the years, so i said "yes, but i would think here in the west they are now stagnating".
he agreed, so i said "the trouble is today that if anyone is thinking of doing anything life changing they google it first".. we then talked of other things, but i wonder if that may spur him on to google the jw's and see what is said ?.
i do hope so..
Baby steps.
You got a thought in without frightening him off YOU. Nice.
softly softly catchy monkey
my parents used to let us watch this series growing up.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wei5oek53h8&list=plsg87pnp-rju50meptced92tlyyym7wir.
... until one day they noticed it was actually a production from the evangelical lutheran church of america... .
then, it became prohibited.... the only explanation they provided us thereafter was that this cartoon was made by satan and his demons.. .
People with TV were weak in the faith in the 60s in NZ. If D&G ever made it here, we were not the type of Dub that would ever watch that sort of thing. We were so Superdub that the Superdubs were threatened by our presence.

Jesus didn't ask Jehovah to forgive them.
Quoting you .... "Father forgive them"
Any evangelical worth his salt should know that "God the Father" does not = Jehovah, but they have not been taught how to explain this concept to someone convinced of JW theology.
The 'Trinity' that JWs have been taught, is not taught by Trinitarians, or their favourite whipping boy the Catholic Church, and is not The Trinity at all, it is Modalism. The WT scammed you on this one .... don't let them get away with it.
BTW, I believe man created gods .... all of them
